About Me

My name is Kathleen Anderson, and I’ve been a graphic designer since I was 14 years old, when I landed in a graphic design class at my high school against my will (I grew to love it, clearly). I recieved my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Central Washington University in 2020, and while I was getting my degree, I designed event posters for 4 years at The Publicity Center (known by the student body as HYPE), the on-campus design agency giving me and my fellow students a chance to apply what they learn in class.

I graduated during the pandemic, which definitely put a wrench in my goals and plans. I started freelancing for Rupert Inc. in 2021, a Seattle-based advertising agency, where I worked full time until 2022, when I stared working for The Vida Agency, a marketing agency in Edmonds. I started as a Junior Graphic Designer and was promoted to Graphic Designer in August of 2024. I am at present looking for work at an established company where I can continue to grow, hone my skills, and learn from the people around me however I can.

In my free time, you can find me playing video games, reading a good book, making coffee, or hiking one of the various beautiful trails that surround us in the PNW.

(Doing my best Agent Cooper impression here hehe)
